We at Balkrishna Gaushala Panjrapod are devoted to promote humane behaviour towards cows by providing appropriate care, protection,treatment and security for cows which are in need of care and attention by reason of sickness, maltreatment, poor circumstances,ill usage and abandonment.

We currently care for over 650 cows many of which have been brought to the sanctuary as their owners can no longer afford to keep them or they are no longer able to produce milk. Some cows are abandoned and end up eating whatever they can find on the streets including rubbish; this has resulted in some requiring urgent medical attention in order for them to survive.

With your help and support, your donations will help us to continue to buy food, water, medical care, veterinary services and equipment to support the welfare of the cows. Donations will also be used to fund new projects (see project section) and the maintenance of current facilities.
